There was little time for preparation before
departure, and since Fullerton was in a hurry he immediately took off.
Since there was no regularly transportation- service between the two Countries at
that time, Fullerton took the long journey by travelling on horseback. It took
round six days with very few stop-overs, and with all possible speed.
